FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I thought that you couldn't give bones to your dog or cat?
"While
it is true that you do not want to feed just any bones to your pet,
there are bones that are good for them in many ways.- You want to give
them bone that has been ground up, or smaller bones such as: wings,
backs, necks of chicken (Turkey if your pet is large enough). Shank
Bones and marrow bones are excellent sources of proteins, calcium,
phosphorous, and chondroitin; all are important to your pets health
physically. Bones are an excellent way for your pet to keep his
phsycologicol well being in balance. Chewing on bones is a natural
thing for them, it is what they are 'designed' to do. It also keeps you
sane because they are not chewing your possesions!"
How is it that your prices are generally cheaper than other stores or websites?
"We
believe that it shouldn't have to be expensive to feed your beloved pet
the proper foods that he both needs and deserves. Since we were so
fortunate to find resources to allow us this opportunity, we decided to
pass it along; hence Ken-nel Pet Food Distrbutors. We strive to make
sure that our operating costs are as low as possible, this allows us to
sell at a cheaper price."
Isn't it dangerous to feed raw meat to your pet?
"Actually this isn't true, if you follow strict handleing of the meats and bones.-
In trurth, it simply requires common sense. You have to keep the meat
frozen until you are ready to feed. After thawing, you must keep the
meat refrigerated until you are ready to feed. When you are ready to
feed, allow the meat to come to room temperature. We feel it is best to
not feed it to them cold, because it is harder to digest. Only keep
the meat refrigerated for a couple of days (personally, we feel three
days is a limit)."
"Your pets digestive system is designed differently than ours.-
It is designed to dissolve and digest bones and most bacteria. If you
are truely concerned; you can give them yogurt or probiotics to boost
their system to naturally handle any bacteria."
I
gave my pet some of the necks and backs, wings, ect.; and the next day,
they were bringing up small peices of bone. Is that normal?
Yes,
it is part of your pets wonderful natural design. They are able to eat
what they can tear off, 'crunch' and swallow. After their stomach
digests the protein and fat, they are able to regurgitate the pieces of
bone that their bodies can't handle. While it isn't the most pleasant
thing to watch, and you may have to pick up a couple of bone pieces; it
can be cleaned up with a towel."
Why have you chosen to sell Solid Gold, Blue Ridge Beef, and Sojourner Farms Products?
When
we decided that the pure bred dogs that we want were Great Danes, we
started researching. We discovered that the Dane has an incredibly
sensitive stomach. After three months of research, we knew what we
needed to find. The search was on. These are the companies that we
decided offered the best, most complete products available. They
offerd their products at reasonable prices and had incredible customer
service. We LOVE them...and so do Miranda, Sebastian and Dunnar!
If I am not satisfied with the product or it's quality? / How can you give a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee?

products . If for any reason, it does not meet your expectations; we
will give your your money back. We would never expect anyone to pay
for something that they did not want or like. And, if your pet isn't

to be able to pass the savings on to you. We simply store our products
and when you order them; we schedule the method of your choice, pickup
or delivery.
How can I get my products at a cheaper price?
There
are a couple of things that you can do. 1). Order your products in

orders, paying for gas is cheaper than shipping. 3).Set up and sign an
agreement for regular bulk orders. If it can be co-ordinated in sync
with our deliveries, there is no need for extra storage space,
therefore cheaper for you.
